All physical forms of yoga are born out of Hatha Yoga which is the most well known and widely practiced. Hatha Yoga is devoted to the discipline of the body and the balance of the mental, physical and subtle forces of the body through the practice of asana and pranayama..

Relaxation: a practice in which one learns to relax, consciously releasing both physical and mental tensions, developing a state of inner awareness.

Asana: keeps the body healthy by removing tensions and massaging the internal organs, thereby improving their function and giving greater flexibility and strength to the spine, muscles and joints.

Pranayama: is a breathing exercise or technique that utilises conscious control of the breathing process. It is important not only for supplying the body with fresh oxygen but also has a direct effect on the brain and emotions - balancing the nervous system and putting us in touch with more subtle energies and aspects of our being.
