In many Eastern cultures, massage has been used as routine childcare from birth for centuries. The Western culture has only recently adopted the practice.

When a baby's senses have not yet fully developed, touch is in fact the most developed sense.



    W h a t   c a n   i t   t r e a t ?

As well as easing the transition into the outside world and being an excellent bonding experience between mother and baby, it can help with the following problems:

- Confidence in parenting
- Constipation
- Development in premature babies
- Dry skin
- Post-Natal Depression
- Sleep disturbance
- Stress and anxiety
- Teething pain

 

    H o w   d o e s   i t   w o r k ?

Baby massage is different from other forms of massage. Very light pressure is applied, consisting of light stroking and touching.

 

    W h a t   w i l l   m y   s e s s i o n   i n v o l v e ?

Your therapist will teach you various techniques to gain the most benefit for health and development for your child, you and your relationship with each other. Over the weeks you will gain new skills to aid any ailments and to soothe and relax your new born.

Each class lasts for 1 hour

   H o w   m u c h   d o e s   a   c l a s s   c o s t ?

One-to-one        £40

Two-to-one       £20 per person

Groups              £40 per course
                         Course duration: 4 weeks.
                         1 session per week.

ll of our Baby Massage groups have a maximum of 6 babies per session, allowing your instructor more time for you and your baby.
