What is Homeopathy?
Homeopathy is system of treating and preventing disease in which small doses of certain remedies are administered. In large doses, these remedies would produce the symptoms of the disease. This is thought to enhance the body's natural defences.

How does it work?
Homeopathy is an effective system of healing which enables people to restore themselves to health. It recognizes that all symptoms of ill health are expressions of disharmony within the whole person and that it is the patients themselves who need treatment. By finding a remedy that best fits your unique symptom picture we can start to move towards this restoration of health. Patients are treated as individuals, not as a collection of disease labels. It is based on the principle of 'like curing like'. This can be explained more in the consultation. Many illnesses, whether mental, emotional or physical, serious or minor, can be cured homeopathically. There are no side effects.
What will my session involve?
The first consultation may take up to two hours. Please come with details of your condition and any relevant information such as family history, childhood illnesses and current medication. You may find some questions unusual compared to a consultation with your doctor, but this is to get as much information about you as possible in order to find your most 'similar' remedy.
You will then be given a remedy, which may be in tablet or liquid form, along with instructions as to how to take it. Time is needed to allow for the remedy to work before a follow up to ascertain the response to it. The follow up may be very short or may involve more detailed questions again.
How long is a session?
Your first consultation may last up to 2 hours. Follow-up appointments can be very short or may require more time depending on your problem and response to treatment.
How much does a session cost?
First Consultation (1hr 30) - £75
Follow Up - £65
These prices include prescriptions from consultations and case management in between consultations where necessary. They also include telephone time as required in between regular appointments. A £10 prescription charge is made for any prescription sent in between appointments.
