What will my session involve?
In the initial appointment you will have a full consultation and treatment.
This will include a full assessment where you will have the oppurtunity to discuss your foot related problems. A full medical history will be taken, followed by the appropriate treatment.
Please wear or bring your everyday shoes if possible and a list of any medication you are currently or have recently been taking.
What is Chiropody & Podiatry?
Cryotherapy is rapid freezing to a temperature of -85C. It is an effective way to kill the virus that causes verruca. Modern techniques have made this a convenient and relatively painless treatment. After cryotherapy there are no restrictions with regards to bathing or the need for continuous application of cream or plasters.
How often will I need to be treated?
This varies between patients depending on their needs, the nature of treatment and the time it takes. Often a monthly visit to your Chiropodist or Podiatrist will suffice. For more acute problems an initial fortnightly appointment may be required. Treatment length and frequency will be stated when your treatment plan is produced.
